ICE has descended upon the Twin Cities and surrounding areas, with thousands of masked agents terrorizing our region. They are tearing apart families, violating the civil rights of both immigrants and native-born citizens, and committing horrific acts of violence. Now they claim they will be backing down, but we have reason to be skeptical. Even if they do leave the Twin Cities, some ICE officers will remain, and others may simply move to the suburbs and rural areas.
Our communities are standing strong in solidarity against ICE’s assaults. There are already many people and groups responding to raids and documenting ICE activity. We are exposing ICE’s brutal tactics and helping to prevent abductions, but we need more people who are ready to respond.
In this training, you will learn to become a Constitutional Observer: how to document ICE actions, report and respond to ICE raids, assert your rights as an observer, get alerts, help families that are targeted, and more. Take this course and be on the right side of history!
The training will begin at 6:00 and run slightly more than one hour. Afterward, there will be plenty of time for Q&A.
