On Saturday, May 30, Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan got the nod for the U.S. Senate by the DFL at their state convention in Rochester. At the last minute Representative Angie Craig (CD 2) withdrew from that race and did not attend. However, Rep. Craig spared no time in challenging Flanagan in the August 11 primary. The primary election is now ON.

St. Croix Valley Indivisible (SCVI) in January endorsed Peggy Flanagan for the open U.S. Senate seat being vacated by Tina Smith, who is not running for reelection. Flanagan also has the endorsement of the Minnesota Indivisible Alliance and Indivisible National. Our endorsements need to mean something. We need to get to work.Join us! Indivisible National’s support for Peggy Flanagan’s campaign starts on Monday, June 15, with a Kickoff Call.
SCVI also will offer opportunities to support Flanagan’s primary bid. Watch this space!
