Join St. Croix Valley Indivisible (SCVI) on the bus to the People's March in St. Paul!
Women's March MN has announced a march and rally on Saturday, January 18, in downtown St. Paul designed to coincide with the People's March to be held that day in Washington, D.C., two days before Trump's second inauguration. The St. Paul event begins with a march from St. Paul College and culminates with a rally in front of the MN Capitol building. Find the People's March webpage here.
SCVI is hiring a school bus from FirstStudent to provide transportation from the Stillwater area to downtown St. Paul and back. Details are being firmed up, so the following information is approximate. Early registration is recommended, as space is limited.
Bus leaves and returns to Kowalski's parking lot in Oak Park Heights
Bus loading at 10:00 AM
Return trip loading at 2:45 PM
Cost: $20 collected at time of boarding (No credit/debit cards or electronic payments, please)
All registrants will be updated by email as the details are confirmed
FYI: The $20 cost is set based on expected ridership to cover the cost of the bus plus a tip for the driver. Any excess will be deposited in SCVI's bank account to support future actions. Any shortage will be covered out of SCVI's funds.
