Midterm Elections: Building on our Community Impact

Date: May 20, 2026

Time: 6-7:30 p.m.

Location: Bayport Public Library, 582 N 4th St., Bayport, Upper level (elevator available)

Supporting successful 2026 midterm elections will be a key focus for St. Croix Valley Indivisible (SCVI) over the next six months. During our May meeting we will talk through threats and risks we perceive as we look forward to the primary and general elections and our plans to meet the moment.

We will begin the meeting by remembering the community impact of recent SCVI actions by our advocates. Let’s remind ourselves of our past successes and build up confidence that our work to support the success of the midterm elections will be meaningful.

Together we will discuss the potential threats and risks to the smooth operation of the elections. Action is the best antidote to any of these threats. SCVI Leaders will describe the responses and actions we are planning to defend our democracy and to elect candidates that share our vision for a multiracial democracy that works for all of us in the St. Croix Valley, the state of Minnesota, and across the country.

A strong SCVI community will contribute to a strong democracy!
