Join activists across the country for the Mass Mobilization taking place on Saturday, April 5. Locally a rally will happen in front of the MN State Capitol at noon. Expectations are for a huge crowd—let's join them and help exceed that expectation.

If you let us know you'll be at the rally, we will keep you updated on details.

Background

Hands Off! is an all-in moment for the pro-democracy, pro-worker movement—a demand, a warning, and a rallying cry that responds to the primary reasons for our mobilization. Initiated by Indivisible there are now many national and local activist groups involved in the organizing effort. Women's March MN and 50501 MN are working with Indivisible groups to plan the St. Paul rally. Nationally there are dozens of cooperating organizations.

Why are we mobilizing? We are facing a national crisis. Trump has launched an unprecedented power grab. He and his allies are rapidly stripping America for parts and selling us out. They are slashing government services and jobs and rewarding the power elite with the spoils. The lawlessness, cruelty, and corruption have gone too far. So, on April 5, we unite to say: Hands OFF!

Hands OFF! is a peaceful, non-violent, nationwide action to make our voices heard and demand our lawmakers to use their power to hold Trump and Musk accountable.

Big Numbers are Important

It is important for ALL of us to show up. Don't count on your friends and neighbors showing up to be enough. Research shows that very big numbers of people do create change. Dr. Erica Chenoweth, a political scientist at Harvard University, has done the research. Their research confirms that nonviolent protest is the most powerful way to create change. Also, they confirm that historically when 3.5% of the population comes together change happens.

This won't be the last rally asking for change, so let's get started.
