Contact your MN senator and representative today!
At the end of March 2026, we updated you on several important developments towards a patient-centered reform of the healthcare system in Minnesota. These included:
The recent Lobby Day at the Capitol where advocates from across the state met with their representatives in the MN Senate and House to support the Patient-Centered Care and Direct Payment bill (SF 3612/HF 3476, authored by Sen. Marty and Rep. Liebling.) The legislation would remove private managed care organizations (MCOs/HMOs) from Minnesota’s Medicaid programs
The promising legislative hearings held by both MN Senate and House on the Patient-Centered Care and Direct Payment bill
The Department of Human Services reform announced by Gov. Walz
The successful SCVI-led endorsement of the Patient-Centered Care and Direct Payment bill by 86% (!!) of the MN Indivisible Chapters
Now is the time to take our advocacy to the next level. We urge each of you to send a letter to your MN Senate and MN House legislators, calling on them to support and vote for the Patient-Centered Care and Direct Payment bill. Indivisibles and sympathizers across our entire state are doing the same.
Thank you for being on this journey! Together, let’s continue pushing for a healthcare system that truly serves the needs of the people!
In solidarity,
Paolo and Nancy
